What We Do

We offer participants a beautifully crafted, realistic-looking Black Rock City passport. Whether you're a first-time burner or a seasoned vet, the passport can serve as a keepsake, a guide and a personal memento of your journey through the dust.

When you visit us, you’ll fill out your passport with your chosen name, a photo taken on the spot in any style you like, and answers to a few thoughtful questions designed to spark reflection and insight. Rather than standard passport details like birthplace or expiration date, our questions invite you to consider who you are, what you're seeking, and how you want to show up on the playa.

The experience doesn’t stop at our camp. We’ve partnered with dozens of other camps — over 70 in our first year and now up to 150 — each contributing their own unique stamp. As you journey across Black Rock City, you’ll collect these stamps, creating a physical record of your adventures and interactions. For some, it’s a lighthearted challenge. For others, it’s been a meaningful way to connect, break out of their shell, and spark unexpected conversations.

Inside each passport, you'll find artwork by BRC artists, photos from past burns, and a mix of quotes, funny and inspiring, all chosen to reflect the spirit of Burning Man. There’s space to jot down names and contacts of new friends, and at the end, an “Exodus Questionnaire” encourages you to reflect on your experience before you return to the default world.
